Venom is an RP-PvE Free Company located on the Mateus server of Final Fantasy XIV. We love our roleplay, we love our casual content, and we just like to goof around.
We look for individuals who desire to actively participate with the rest of our members and have fun doing it. We've got a laid back culture filled with fun-loving folks who have a good sense of humor. We do want to remain a smaller FC so that nobody feels like just a number. Our end goal is to forge friendships that will last for years to come.
While we are not an 18+ guild, we are only interested in recruiting FC members with a high level of maturity and a friendly attitude. Our roleplay will consist of darker themes which will test the moral boundaries of your characters.

About Us
Working under the guise of the Crescent Lantern Institute in Shirogane, Venom uses the various classes that they teach to recruit potentials into their secret fold. Venom is a hush-hush organization of individuals contracted by the City States of Eorzea to assist with both the Voidsent and Garlean threats. The organization gathers intelligence for the war and tackles situations that many would deem suicide missions. Venom is willing to take on the challenges for Eorzea that many mercenaries may find far too risky.
While Venom is filled with patriots to the cause, it can find those within its ranks who have been conscripted to serve for the crimes they may have committed.
Venom is not above doing anything in their power to finish their objectives, be it assassinations, blackmail, or interrogation and torture - making some of the convicts in their fold feel right at home.

1. Don’t Be A Bitch.
2. NSFW is under no circumstance permitted. This includes emotes, avatars and usernames. Final Fantasy XIV has an ESRB rating of T for Teen. This means that minors play the game. This is the internet. Use your brain. This goes hand in hand with rule #3 and 4.
3. No ERP drama. Zero. None. No characters made exclusively for ERP are allowed. The FC is not a brothel or a harem. Once you air the dirty XXX laundry? It becomes a problem for us that we will remove a player for.
4. Don’t flirt obnoxiously with other members or behave in a manner which paints you to look like some thirstmaster. It’s just not welcome, and definitely unwanted. Violators will be punished to the highest extent of the law [aka FC kick/discord ban.]
5. No SJW's, no crazies. Mics are also required if you hang out in any of the voice channels. You must understand the line between a joke and when something is meant to intentionally hurt someone. We DO BANTER.
6. Do NOT come into the discord and vent about politics. Keep it out of chat. You can agree to disagree or you can leave. People have different opinions and come from different walks of life. Same goes for religion. Just don't even bring that stuff up, especially if you instigate arguments. You'll be kicked for that crap. Just don't.

2. Don't Blend RP. Characters are not the actual person. Just because a character may not like yours, doesn't mean the player doesn't like you.
3. Always make sure others are all right with something that could be questionable in RP, such as dishing out an injury to another character or even the extent of healing done to another character. Be nice and cooperate / communicate.
4. Don’t Metagame. That stuff is never fun for anyone.
5. Don’t lorebreak. Our characters are not the Warrior of Light. While the FC may tolerate some bending of the lore, what we won’t tolerate is breaking of the lore.

Informants of Venom are those who are skilled at information brokering and investigation.
The Agent Trainees
Trainees are the fresh faces who have yet to prove their worth to the organization. They fine-tune their skill sets so that they can become a reliable part of Venom.
